Accessibility Statement

Last updated: May 10, 2026. Timber Tree and Construction wants every neighbor in Whatcom and Skagit County to be able to use this website, regardless of ability or assistive technology. If something on the site is not working for you, call (360) 441-5033 and we will get it fixed.

Our Commitment

We believe a good local business website should work for everyone. That includes people who use screen readers, people who navigate with a keyboard instead of a mouse, people with low vision or color blindness, and people on slower connections out in Maple Falls or Glacier where the signal is not always great. We are not a Fortune 500 company with a dedicated accessibility team, but we take this seriously and we do the work.

Our Goal: WCAG 2.1 Level AA

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. WCAG is the international standard for web accessibility, developed by the World Wide Web Consortium. Level AA is widely considered the right target for most public-facing business websites. We are not claiming perfection. We are claiming a steady, honest effort to meet that bar.

What We've Done

We chose readable fonts and made sure body text is large enough to read comfortably on a phone or a desktop. We checked color contrast on text, buttons, and links to make sure things stay readable for people with low vision or color blindness. We use real headings (h1, h2, h3) in a logical order so screen readers can move through pages cleanly.

We added meaningful alt text to images that carry meaning, and we mark decorative images so screen readers skip them. Our navigation is fully usable by keyboard, with visible focus indicators so you can see where you are on the page. Forms have clear labels. Buttons say what they do. Links say where they go.

We use ARIA labels where they help screen reader users understand the purpose of menus, dialogs, and interactive elements. The mobile menu, accordion FAQs, and other interactive components are built with accessibility in mind.

Known Limitations and Ongoing Work

Honest note: this site is a work in progress. We are actively building out new pages in 2026, and not every page has been audited yet. Some older photos may have weaker alt text than we would like. Embedded third-party tools, such as Google Maps or a future review widget, are not always fully accessible because we do not control the underlying code. Where that comes up, we provide a text-based alternative or a phone number you can call to get the same information.

If you run into a specific issue, please tell us. Real feedback from real users is the fastest way for us to make this site better.

How to Give Feedback or Get Help

If something on the site is not working for you, or if you would simply prefer to handle your business with us over the phone or in person, we are easy to reach. Call or text Dylan and Taylor at (360) 441-5033 any time, day or night. Or email [email protected]. Let us know what page you were on, what you were trying to do, and what is not working. We will respond within one business day and, where possible, fix the issue right away.

If you would rather skip the website entirely and request an estimate over the phone, we are happy to do that. We will ask you a few questions, take your address, and either come out to the property or quote from photos you can text us. No website required.

Third-Party Content

Our website uses a few third-party tools, including GoHighLevel for forms, Google Analytics for measurement, and embedded content from Google and social media platforms. We rely on those vendors to maintain accessibility on their own components. If you run into a problem with an embedded form or widget, contact us and we will help you complete the task another way.

Contact for Accessibility Issues

The fastest way to reach us about an accessibility question is the phone.
